Q:    How do I get there?

A:    There is a fight every Tuesday morning (early!) from Honolulu and returns every Tuesday afternoon.
Contact us for prices and availability.   (Note that even though Kiribati is directly south of Hawaii,
it's time zone is 24 hours (one day) ahead of Hawaii.)

Q:    How do I make reservations?

A:    Contact us directly for all arrangements.

Q:    What are the housing accommodations?

A:    Guests stay at the Captain Cook Hotel.  It is air-conditioned, has a full bar, and serves all meals including
packed lunches for diver and fisherman who are away for the afternoon.

Q:    How is the diving?

A:    The diving is GREAT!!!  Water temperature averages around 82-86 F and visibility averages over 100 feet.
There are many rare and unusual fish here, some found no where else on earth.  Also, manta rays, spinner dolphins,
melon-head whales, etc. are seen very frequently.  And for those so inclined, there is fishing during surface intervals
or on the way to/from sites where it's common to land a yellow-fin tuna for a snack!

Q:    What is the weather?

A:    The climate is tropical with daytime temperatures averaging 85 F.   The sun is EXTREMELY intense
(even if you lived and travel in the tropics for years, bring your sunscreen!!!).  There can be some rain a times
so contact us with your travel dates so we can give you our best guess. (No guarantees on weather predictions.)

Q:    Are there any special requirements to visit?

A:    If you are travelling from the U.S. or Canada, you will need to purchase a $20 (US) VISA available at the
gate when you check in for your departure in Hawaii.  If you are visiting from another country, please contact
us before you leave so we can make sure there are no delays.

Q:    How do you pronounce Kiribati?

A:    It is pronounced  Keer' ee baus.  The Republic of Kiribati comprises what used to be known as the Gilbert Islands.

Q:    How much does it cost?

A:    Price list coming soon.  Please contact us directly  for all prices.
